seven days a week

So in the last couple weeks I have… uh… done… uh… nothing?

Besides the EPS move last weekend I’ve pretty much either been at work or some sort of task after work. Lately I’ve had maybe a few hours to sit down and not do anything, or a few hours to get a bunch of other things done. It’s not that I am unable to work 50+ hours a week and I do like the money, but damned if I just don’t feel like doing anything when I get home besides sit here and watch anime or read internets.

In other news I’ve been putting together a new machine over the past few weeks, or essentially, a complete refit of my computer from school. Essentially every part in the machine is changing except the motherboard, which I figured would be fine. Code named “Nanoha” it is a Core2 Duo 2.93, GeForce 9800 GTX, 4GB RAM, 1x80GB SATA and 1x1TB SATA, and a SATA DVD-RW. Right now the machine still needs the CPU, GPU, and RAM which will be ordered this week, but at the moment it is up and running right now, I moved everything over in my free time during the last week and swapped it out with Az the other night. Win7 so far has been playing okay, abet getting used to some things.

I can see why 4GB is good in Win7, 51%? Sheesh.

Soon as this project is done I can maybe look into saving up some money for either a decent netbook or a decent laptop come summer, haven’t decided which, though if I see a under 300 Aspire One or good EEE on woot, I might get it for a cheap carry laptop or for work, especially since I can use the internet off my Moment/Sprint for weekend on-call if needed.

Besides that, not much else, downloaded the Nanoha PSP game and as figured, it requires a newer firmware, but I found a way to hack the EBOOT file on it to play with the current version I have so win-win, gotta figure out the controls on it. Also wondering if that same hack will work for LittleBigPlanet PSP as that would be cool to play. Once the new machine has it’s good components in I want to play more Borderlands and the two DLC’s that came out for it recently, as well as finish NSMB.Wii. After that, eh, no idea.

And now for something, completely different.
